Bernier Pierre

Founding Partner

Bernier is a Canadian licensed Chartered Accountant practicing in the Greater Toronto Area. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a B. Comm. Honors Degree, Bernier worked at one of the big four accounting firms in the Private Company Group for a few years, where he obtained his CPA, CA designation.

Prior to joining a local accounting firm as senior manager, Bernier spent a couple years in the corporate world as a finance manager at one of the big five Canadian banks. During this time, Bernier obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder (CFA) designation and developed strong business acumen which helped his tremendously in guiding his clients to succeed with their businesses.

Prior to founding Bernier Pierre CPA, Bernier was a senior manager at a local accounting firm, where he specialized in working with owner managed businesses and help them maximize their profitability through integrated tax planning strategies.

With many years of experience from both large and local accounting firms, Bernier brings to the table strong expertise with a variety of industries, such as construction, builders and land developers, real estate, health care professionals, consultants and engineers, tech companies as well as other professional service providers.

Bernier’s clients often appreciate his timely response to their questions, clear guidance on what and how things should be done, and his ability to explain complex accounting and tax issues in plain languages. Bernier always helps his clients be on top of their accounting records with minimal effort, improve company profitability through strategic tax planning, and make sound and timely business decisions through effective communications.
